Perhaps the best known aspect of the Congdon Park neighborhood is the vast collection of nature walks and trails through the area. The Congdon Park trail itself follows the Tischer Creek through the many curves to admit views of rapids, pools, and waterfalls to delight the eye. The hike is an easy one, and the views of the water are spectacular.

The homes in the area are what might be called above average, and are newer, larger, and more comfortable than in many other areas of Duluth. This neighborhood in Eastern Duluth is well worth the money for those who can afford the high living costs.

There is one elementary school to service the neighborhood, which takes the name Congdon Park Elementary.br />
