Great Lakes Aquarium

Located in the famous tourism area of Canal Park is the Great Lakes Aquarium, settled on the edge of Lake Superior. Part of the growing number of tourist sites in Duluth, Minnesota, the Great Lakes Aquarium shares its space with the popular and renowned Duluth Zoo and various other museums. Open every day of the year, the Aquarium sports a good number of creatures and exhibits, including a new one set up by the team at Ripley's Believe it or Not.

Otters, Bald Eagles, and other creatures make the Great Lakes Aquarium their home year-round. People from the surrounding area as well as tourists love to come by and watch these friendly animals. Kids are especially at home here with touch tanks that have been set up to help them further enjoy and experience sea life.

The great Isle Royale exhibit reflects the life that is part of the largest island in Lake Superior. It is an 85,000 gallon tank that has been filled with the fish that make Lake Superior their home. Both deep water, shallow water, native and introduced fish are on display for the public to enjoy.
